This course is an introduction to the core essentials of the Adobe CS3 web applications of Dreamweaver CS3 and Flash CS3 for web development and rich media creation over a 3 day session. The duration of this course will enable an all round grounding in the most important aspects of these 3 applications to your web design workflow but will not allow a fully comprehensive introduction to all aspects of each application.
Dreamweaver CS3 is the latest incarnation of the leading web development and site management application previously known under the Macromedia branding. Its powerful tools allow you to build and manage great web sites all through an intuitive graphical user interface. It integrates perfectly with Adobe's other leading applications like Flash and Photoshop and respects all the latest internet standards.
Adobe Flash CS3 is now a web standard and the only widely distributed technology for integrating vector graphics and animation into web sites. In this introduction course, we focus on using Adobe Flash CS3 for the creation of visually attractive vector and animation based websites and page elements. We look at creating artwork in Flash CS3 as well as importing artwork and images into Flash files. We also work with text, creating navigation systems, and creating interactive elements that contain sound and video.
On completing this three day course, you will be confidently using Dreamweaver CS3 and a graphics editor to create and implement visually exciting web sites. You will have gone right from conceptualising how your site should be structured through to uploading it into your web space. You will also have a good understanding of the core features of Flash CS3 and how to use them to create visually attractive, interactive web elements.
