Redax is a plug-in for Adobe Acrobat that lets you remove (redact) text and images from PDF files to assure confidentiality of sensitive information. It is a plug-in for Acrobat 5 and works by allowing the user to select content by drawing boxes around it or by using Acrobat standard mark-up (highlight, underline and strikethrough) on text. Redax can completely and securely remove information that you select for redaction. It parses the document, physically deletes the selected information, and generates a new redacted document. The deleted information cannot be recovered, because the redacted file is created without it.
Redax is becoming increasingly popular in the UK with government agencies and law enforcement; law and legal institutions and support companies; pharaceutical companies and human resource departments.
StampPDF is the most popular Adobe Acrobat plug-in for stamping text and JPEG images into PDF documents. It can be used to add Bates numbering, watermarks, date and time, page numbers, company logos, and more anywhere in your document from a menu item within Acrobat.
This one-day training course takes users through all the features of the Redax and StampPDF plug-in and requires no previous knowledge of the product.
