Markzware FlightCheck is a preflighting solution which allows you to analyse the majority of file formats used in professional printing to see if they are ready for output.
Markzware define FlightCheck's functions in terms of Inspect, Validate, Report, Remedy, and Collect. It does this by checking a document against a set of criteria you want checked. So, for example, if you want FlightCheck to make sure there are no RGB images in your files, you ask it to look for RGB images when it runs its checks. It will then display information about any RGB images it find either as "warning" or as a "error".
The advantage of FlightCheck is that it can perform a thorough analysis of many files types where most preflight solutions concentrate on a single type of file.
In this one-day introductory course, you will learn how to set up and use Markzware FlightCheck to perform preflight test on a series of different document formats, including QuarkXPress, InDesign, Illustrator and others. By the end of the course you will be confident, not only in setting up these checks, but also in analysing and correcting the problems encountered.
