QuarkXPress™ is the standard in page layout for most professionals working in print and design industries. The principle is simple: QuarkXPress allows you to place elements created in other applications onto a page and to flow text around those objects. However, version 6.5 of QuarkXPress has brought a host of new features that can be daunting to learn for busy DTP operators, no matter how experienced they are with previous versions of the software.

If you have knowledge of a previous version of QuarkXPress (v.2, v.3, v.4, v.5) and would like to get up-to-date on all the latest features then this is the course for you. During the day we'll consider all the major changes that have happened to Quark since earlier versions and will experiment with those features in the context of producing output-ready quality layouts.

By the end of this course, you will be ready to use QuarkXPress 6.5 with the same facility as you've been using your previous version, but with a host of exciting new tools to work with that will make your job not only easier but more creative.
