Adobe Illustrator CS3 Two Day Introduction - Manchester

In this scheduled Illustrator course, you will learn skills that allow you to take advantage of Illustrator's powerful tools to create illustrations and type effects. Learn to design advertisements and printable documents. Work with colours, gradients, layers, fonts, and photos to create eye-catching illustrations and text effects.

Upon successful completion of this course, delegates will be able to:
-Draw and understand Bezier curves, the root of drawing in Illustrator
-Create a logo using simple shapes
-Accurately place and measure objects in the Illustration window
-Trace and Colour your hand drawn artwork with Live Trace, Live Paint and Live Colour

-Using Live Trace to transform your hand drawn sketches into vector artwork that can be further adjusted

Course Target Audience and delegate prerequisites

This course is intended for graphic designers, or people transitioning into a design job or taking on design responsibilities, who need to use Illustrator to create illustrations, logos, advertisements, or other graphic documents. Delegates may have little or no experience with Illustrator.

Ahead of taking this course the trainee must have basic PC or Mac skills, including an fundamental understanding of a computer's operating system, how to launch an application and create and save files, as well as how to copy files from CDs and other media.
