Adobe Photoshop CS3 Introduction

During this scheduled Photoshop course you will learn about the capabilities of Adobe Photoshop CS3 as well as build an effective workflow. You will use Adobe Photoshop CS3 tools for painting, retouching and enhancing images with selections and layers.

Upon successful completion of this course delegates will be able to:
-Enhance an image by removing colour cast, compensate for flash lightning and red eyes
-Increase/Decrease the contrast and brightness of your artwork
-Create simple compositions by blending images together or selecting only parts of an image
-Use colour in Photoshop effectively
-Create type and produce simple adverts
-Output an artwork for web

Course Target Audience and delegate prerequisites

This Photoshop course is suitable for all levels of Photoshop users. Seasoned users may wish to take this class to enforce their Photoshop knowledge or to rid themselves of bad Photoshop habits. Delegates will not just learn how Photoshop works, but also about many of the new CS3 features.

Ahead of taking this course the trainee must have basic PC or Mac skills, including an fundamental understanding of a computer's operating system, how to launch an application and create and save files, as well as how to copy files from CDs and other media.

St John’s Lane is located in the heart of Clerkenwell close to the junction of Farringdon and Clerkenwell Road. Farringdon tube is a few minutes away and the office can also be accessed from Chancery Lane and Barbican tubes in about 10 minutes.

Courses are run between 9.30am and 4.30pm with an hour break for lunch and both mid morning and mid-afternoon refreshment breaks.
