FileMaker Pro Introduction 2 Days - Bristol

This scheduled introduction to Filemaker Pro is aimed at users who want to start building their own databases with FileMaker Pro or to confidently use and customise existing database solutions. This course covers a full introduction to the core areas of working with FileMaker Pro for database development. An introduction to the basics of FileMaker scripting tools and relational issues are also included.

By the end of this two day course, you will be able to create a FileMaker Pro database file with custom fields, that provides functionality for a variety of business applications that you have specified. You will also be confident making the next steps into more complex database design.

The course is based around FileMaker Pro 11 but the course content is fully suited to users of FileMaker Pro 11, 10 and 9

Course Target Audience and delegate prerequisites

This course is intended for professionals who are planning to implement the use of a FileMaker database in their business workflow or would like to work more effectively with a current database.

Ahead of taking this course the trainee must have basic PC or Mac skills, including a fundamental understanding of a computer's operating system, how to launch an application and create and save files, as well as how to copy files from CDs and other media.
