This advanced course is aimed at experienced users and provides delegates with an excellent opportunity to extend their knowledge beyond core introduction/Level 1 skils and as a result eveolves naturally from the 1 day introduction course. The course can also be taken as part of the 2 day Google SketchUp Masterclass.
This advanced course objective is on two levels: Advanced modelling techniques and Organisation. The first will look at how to effectively deal with curves and difficult geometry and cover advanced ‘tricks’. Good modelling organisation is necessary for taking SketchUp up the next level and areas covered includes looking at the way groups, components, layers and other ‘hidden’ features can help dealing with large models and complex structures.
Strong emphasis is also given to the many ways images can be used in SketchUp, from speeding up the workflow to creating 3D geometry or ‘paint’ the model. The end of the session will feature an introduction to Google Layout to finalise the model into professional presentations.
SketchUp provides users with the ability to draw using a familiar pencil and paper paradigm in a software context. Visualizing spaces in three dimensions is critical to the success of the design of architectural spaces. The interplay of light, colour, space and form make exciting spaces function successfully.
