This is the official Google Mastering 3D using SketchUp training course and is one day introduction session comprising foundation and intermediate levels. The course is designed to establish the best foundations and change the way you think in 3D – building SketchUp skills that allow you to quickly move from concept to design whatever your field of work.
The main objective is to learn to draw ‘the SketchUp way’. It’s not just a matter of knowing which buttons to press but how they combine together with your creative approach to empower your design (and have plenty of fun in the meantime!). This introduction day covers all the main modelling and editing tools, plus the essential tricks and ways to avoid common pitfalls and mistakes. The teaching is very much hands on and by the end of the day users will be confident creating complex 3D models.
Although the course is labelled as introduction, the wide range of topics and the quality of the material, make the class an exciting intensive experience, suited to both novice and established user. Students will be surprised at how much is hidden under the bonnet and gain mastery generating and manipulating 3D models of a fairly complex nature.
