Bespoke HTML5 and CSS3 - 2 Day Introduction
Course Details
HTML (the Hypertext Markup Language) is the language of the World Wide Web developed by Tim Berners-Lee in 1990 while working at CERN (the European Laboratory for Particle Physics) in Geneva. HTML is not a programming language – it is a ‘markup’ language whereby simple coding is embedded into a narrative which describes the structure, layout and formatting of the document. The coding is ‘interpreted’ or ‘parsed’ by a web browser and, hopefully, the page is displayed as the designed intended. Unlike programming languages, HTML is simple, logical and intuitive to understand and implement.
CSS This 2-day Introduction course will enhance your existing web-design knowledge by giving you a grounding in HTML5, the latest revision of the HTML standard. HTML5 introduces new features that allow designers to produce richer, more semantic code. We also cover the cutting-edge visual enhancements in the new CSS3 standard, giving you an insight into the impressive results that can be achieved by web professionals.
Course Target Audience and delegate prerequisites:
This course is intended for web designers with existing HTML and CSS skills who wish to learn about the enhancements available in the latest HTML5 and CSS3 web standards.
You will need to be familiar with HTML and CSS. Ideally, you will have taken our HTML & CSS Introduction 2 Day course. -
