Bespoke AI Prompt Engineering for Developers - 1 Day Training
Course Details
This practical 1-day course explores how developers can use prompt engineering techniques to improve the quality, consistency and usefulness of AI-assisted coding workflows.
You will learn how AI coding assistants interpret prompts, context and instructions, and how to structure requests that produce clearer, more accurate and more maintainable outputs. The course focuses on practical development scenarios, helping delegates build repeatable prompting techniques that support coding, debugging, refactoring and project planning workflows.
Training is designed around real-world software development rather than a single language, framework or AI platform. Sessions can be adapted to your organisation’s workflows, coding standards and technical environments to ensure practical and relevant outcomes for your team.
By the end of the course, delegates will have a stronger understanding of how to communicate effectively with AI coding tools, reduce poor-quality output and establish more efficient AI-assisted development practices.Course Target Audience and delegate prerequisites:
This course is intended for developers, technical teams and digital professionals who want to improve the way they work with AI coding assistants and AI-powered development tools.
It is suitable for anyone using AI to support coding, debugging, documentation, planning or software development workflows.
The course is particularly useful for organisations exploring AI-assisted development practices and teams looking to improve consistency, productivity and code quality when working with AI tools.
Delegates should have experience writing or working with code and a basic understanding of software development workflows.
No prior experience with prompt engineering is required, although familiarity with AI coding assistants is beneficial.
