Bespoke Google Tag Manager Introduction 1 Day
Course Details
This 1-day Google Tag Manager course provides a practical introduction to managing tracking using Google Tag Manager (GTM). It is designed to help users understand how tracking works and how to implement it efficiently across websites.
Throughout the course, you will learn how to set up and manage tags, triggers and variables, and how to deploy tracking for tools such as Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Ads. You will explore how to track user interactions, manage scripts and improve data collection without editing website code directly.
In this bespoke course, content is tailored to your organisation and delivered online or onsite. By the end of the session, participants will be able to implement and manage tracking using Google Tag Manager, ensuring accurate and flexible data collection.
Course Target Audience and delegate prerequisites:
This course is intended for users who want to understand how website tracking is implemented and managed. It is suitable for marketers, analysts, developers and anyone responsible for managing analytics or advertising tracking. It is particularly useful for those looking to gain more control over tracking, reduce reliance on developers and improve the accuracy and flexibility of their data collection.
Delegates should have a basic understanding of websites and digital marketing. Familiarity with Google Analytics or Google Ads will be beneficial but is not essential. Participants should be comfortable using online tools and navigating web-based platforms. Access to a Google Tag Manager account is recommended for practical exercises.
