Video Tutorial: How to use Puppet Warp in Photoshop CC for Photo Manipulation

This video tutorial explains how to use the Puppet Warp feature in Adobe Photoshop CC. The Puppet Warp tool in Photoshop allows you to manipulate pixels – pushing, pulling and stretching. It is the go-to tool for re-positioning body parts, adjusting hair or making something thicker or thinner.

In this video we show you how to use the tool to move someone’s legs and arms into a new position. The tool turns an object on a layer effectively into a ‘puppet’ with a mesh that you can add pins to, which act like joints, enabling you to move parts into a new place. So if someone has their head tilted and you need to straighten it or if someone’s hair is in the wrong place, this tool allows you to make both large and small adjustments.
