We will help you understand how this industry-leading program takes desktop publishing and design to a new level, and combines production power and creative freedom with tight integration with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat software. You will learn to create attractive, simple documents and prepare them for the web and for print. We will guide you in learning the work area, working with text and graphics, creating simple vector-based graphics, and the basics of design.

This course is provided as a remote online course with live training provided by our Adobe Certified Trainer.
Accessing the live online course anywhere is easy and all you will need is:
- Computer with the trial or full version of Adobe InDesign installed
- Separate screen or device for the shared video display
- Sound output via computer or headset
- Ideally a camera and microphone on the computer for remote contact
Our goal is for you to be able to create simple but professional documents that are ready to use for the web and for print.

Great, really comprehensive course. We covered all essentials and received very useful tips to work efficiently and effectively on InDesign. Loved Simon's attitude and how the training flowed - and I highly appreciated the idea of focusing on creating something on our own. I think it would have been nice to have some time, even 5 mins each, to look at our projects and get feedback but nonetheless it was a great experience and I am confident I can now work autonomously on the software.

My instructor, Allen, was very knowledgeable and keen to help us when we got stuck. However I found the pace too fast and didn't always feel comfortable asking for a recap when I missed things. Allen having his camera on might have helped with this, as remote delivery can lack that personal connection you need to feel comfortable asking for help.

What are the course times?
For all online courses the normal session timings are 10am to 5pm with an hour break for lunch. In addition to the hour lunch break there are also two fifteen minute coffee breaks mid morning and mid afternoon.
