This 2-day Introduction course helps you learn about the tools and features available in Adobe InDesign CC. We will help you understand how this industry-leading program takes desktop publishing and design to a new level, and combines production power and creative freedom with tight integration with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat software. You will learn to create attractive, simple documents and prepare them for the web and for print. We will guide you in learning the work area, working with text and graphics, creating simple vector-based graphics, and the basics of design. You will also learn how to apply consistency to your text through the use of paragraph and character styles.

This course is provided at the XChange Training London training centre based at:

EC1M 4BHSt John’s Lane is located in the heart of Clerkenwell close to the junction of Farringdon and Clerkenwell Road. Farringdon tube & train station is just a few minutes away and the training centre can also be accessed from Chancery Lane and Barbican tubes in about 10 minutes. There is also easy direct access by bus from Waterloo (243) and West End (55) with nearby stops.
Daily course times run between 10am and 5pm with an hour break for lunch and both mid morning and mid-afternoon refreshment breaks. We recommend arrival at 9.45am for registration on the first day of the course.

As my role involves training delivery, and sitting-in on a lot of courses on various subjects, I know when a course is delivered well or not. This course was exceptional, and I don't say that often. It was a thoroughly enjoyable and informative couple of days, with nothing that dragged or laboured. Craig was an incredibly engaging and knowledgeable instructor, guiding us through the sessions at a comfortable pace. It could have been a heavy/dry subject, but with Craig it wasn't. I found the course easy to follow, but I think that is down to having used word, powerpoint and publisher for over a decade to produce all manner of documents, products, presentations, media and materials. This meant that the course was more getting used to a higher level of programme, rather than learning the basics from scratch, as some in the room needed to. Overall, it was a really good couple of days and I look forward to applying my new knowledge.

What are the course times?
For all courses in the London Centre the normal session timings are 10am to 5pm with an hour break for lunch. In addition to the hour lunch break there are also two fifteen minute coffee breaks mid morning and mid afternoon.
