Overall a really good couple days. Tom was really friendly, flexible, and informative. My only constructive thoughts are: - The instructor's equipment had some glitches which slowed things down, playback issues in After effects etc. Also Premiere just wouldn't open and needed re-installing a number of times. These issues should have been resolved before using up time on the course. - A fair bit of unnecessary information sometimes which became confusing, for example explaining how things used to be laid out, and then explaining how it is currently laid out. In an already complicated programme, doubling up on information is confusing for newcomers, we only really need to know what it's like now. - The teaching of the basic bits was a little slow and then the teaching of the more complex bits was a little fast. Only slightly, but the pacing of the course could've been better balanced. - A couple times it felt like Tom was a bit uncertain of what he was going to teach next, and we were sort of jumping around a little bit, That being said: - Tom was super patient and dealt with the different level of abilities well - He was very adaptible to different availabilites and timings of the group. - Everyone came away feeling like they'd had a great introduction to After Effects - He had a nice teaching style

This course was delivered very well by Allen. He talked through each step giving clarity to each task we were doing and what each of the different scripts mean and why we use them. The only negative issue with the course is maybe the length, a lot of the tasks became mundane in the afternoon time and it was a lot to absorb at once. Some of the tasks felt like they were repeating the same things we had learned already and weren't engaging.

The course has been very useful to help me understand the basics of Premiere Pro. I now feel confident with setting up my Premiere Pro workspace, as well as understanding how the timeline works, in particular the use of the audio settings and captions. Something that might be useful is if there was a written guidebook which covered the content of the course, to use this as a reminder when I use Premiere Pro in the future (instead of just referring to my notes / watching the recording back).
