The course was very understandable and broke down WordPress to each of its functions, including plugins and recommendations for plugins and how to identify useful ones. My first day of the course, due to being on a work laptop was not able to locally host a training site, however I had access to the backend of my school's website and the instructor (Kevin) made it very easy for me to follow along the training and functions from the backend of my website. Issues were sorted for second day of training and was able to follow along the training even better.

Having done the advanced course immediately after the 2 day introduction course, it was a good way of cementing the knowledge I'd already gained. As someone who had never used Premiere before though, I think I probably could have done with more experience before doing the advanced course as I found parts of it difficult to keep up with. Simon clearly has a lot of knowledge and experience of using the software and was able to answer any questions I had.

I went into this course with a very basic knowledge of WordPress, and had a large task to deal with my organisation's website which needs a revamp. After the course, I now feel so much more confident about tackling the website and Will made everything so simple. No question was ever an issue and everything was explained well. Will really helped us solve some problems which felt impossible!

Setting up the workspace environment was really useful and made the whole thing easier to follow. I felt confident in putting together a simple piece inlcuding video and audio after the 2 day course.

I have a basic grasp of CapCut editing, but no experience of Premiere - I struggled to pick things up at first as I was trying to do things in the same way I normally would but as I later found out my skill/experience on CapCut wasn't transferable and harmed my initial adaptation to Premiere.

I joined remotely whilst the rest of the attendees attended in-person. The zoom audio was clear when the course leader spoke, but when they were doing audio demonstrations, I couldn't hear that through zoom. Also, when I was trying to listen to audio to complete a task, I was hearing the chatter from the classroom coming through zoom - perhaps something to think about for future sessions? I really enjoyed the course content, although I would have liked to have been given 'topics' ahead of time i.e. lower thirds. The course leader was super knowledgeable and I liked when he gave real life examples.

As my role involves training delivery, and sitting-in on a lot of courses on various subjects, I know when a course is delivered well or not. This course was exceptional, and I don't say that often. It was a thoroughly enjoyable and informative couple of days, with nothing that dragged or laboured. Craig was an incredibly engaging and knowledgeable instructor, guiding us through the sessions at a comfortable pace. It could have been a heavy/dry subject, but with Craig it wasn't. I found the course easy to follow, but I think that is down to having used word, powerpoint and publisher for over a decade to produce all manner of documents, products, presentations, media and materials. This meant that the course was more getting used to a higher level of programme, rather than learning the basics from scratch, as some in the room needed to. Overall, it was a really good couple of days and I look forward to applying my new knowledge.
